Which is better Investment Property or Shares ?

Interesting article in Tuesday’s Irish Times examining historical returns from Irish residential and commercial property investment in comparison to other asset classes.

At Harvest our belief is that an allocation to Property is appropriate for diversified pension and personal portfolios; although it should not be the dominant asset class.

There are many ways to gain exposure to property including direct investment, funds, REITs, ETFs and Syndicated funds. All routes should be considered by clients before making a decision.
